These are the most adorable stamps and I have fallen in love with them! Rush over to Stamp and Create to check out the rest of the adorable images by Melissa! I think you're going to love them too! This was a really big week for High Hopes, because they also had a brand new HUGE release from artist Dustin Pike!  For this card, I used "Sunflower Buggies", the papers are Basic Grey June Bug colored with Copic markers, I also used some red May Arts silk ribbon tied with the Bow Easy (don't make a bow without it!!), some Diamond Stickles, and a flower charm. Please be sure and visit Stamp and Create to see all the fabulous new releases from High Hopes!

The sentiment is from a fabulous set from The Cutting Cafe called Birthday Greetings Inside and Out. I didn't even use the full sentiment for it.  I just grabbed the top line! I LOVE Regina's digital images!! They are so versatile and fabulously easy to use! If you haven't visited her for a while, you really should go check out all the awesome new sets she's been releasing!

Gluten-Free Vanilla Cupcakes Recipe with Mocha Icing

Gluten free vanilla cupcake recipe that are vegan and delicious
Gluten-free vanilla cupcakes. And dairy-free to boot.

Gluten-free cupcakes is one of the top searched recipes on my blog this week, so I'm reprising this vanilla cupcake recipe from the Gluten-Free Goddess archives- just in case you may have missed it. xox Karina

The world is my oyster. No, wait. I'm allergic to oysters. And even if my body did not rebel in rather alarming ways upon the ingestion of those slimy little devils, truth is, I would much prefer a cupcake. Tender, soft sweetness in exactly the right portion. Not too big. Not too aggressive. Not too much.

Just right.

Texture, in all honesty, is a big issue for me. Size is an issue. And taste, well, that goes without saying [keep those tinny bean flours to yourself, please].

If I was a storybook character I would inhabit The Princess and the Pea.

The Vegas Strip - Assorted Sights - Quick & Easy Layout

Guess who is back to scrapping Vegas?  Oh yeah - MFK (my friend Kathy) and I have a zillion photos still to scrap. For this layout I gathered a selection of photos that I wanted to include in my scrapbook but I did not want to do a complete layout around each photo.  The obvious solution?  The Strip!  I used the Destinations cartridge and the "The Strip" cut as a title.

On the left page of the layout I included photos of my husband and MFK's husband admiring the lady on the Treasure Island ship, the MGM lion, the Hard Rock Cafe's signature guitar, and Harrah's.  I embellished with Jolee's.

On the above layout I included photos of the husbands standing under the hugified stripper woman (disclaimer we DID NOT go into the strip bar, we just photographed them with the woman while we waited to be seated at our show - the FAB FOUR - next door), the Eiffel Tower by day, and the front of the Paris Casino.  And again I used Jolee's to embellish.

As the title set says, I promised a Quick & Easy layout.  The paper I used was ordered from Scrap Your Trip.  Julie carries a huge selection of paper and embellies with which to scrap a trip to almost anywhere.  The paper you see above is the backside of the paper I used for the layout.  I took an extra sheet of the paper and made to angle cuts and used the "Only in Vegas" side of the paper as a decorative element on my pages.  After affixing the large angle cuts to the pages I just had to mat my photos on red cardstock, cut my title and embellish with my Jolee's.  This truly was a super quick and very easy layout.
